Alex O’loughlin Hosts Sustainable Coastlines Event

Sustainable Coastlines presents its annual fundraiser called i HEART the ocean Saturday, Feb. 9, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Elks Club Waikiki. The event will be hosted by Hawaii Five-0 star Alex O’Loughlin, and will feature a marine debris fashion show, music by Discord & Rye, Cynth & The What’s His Faces, a silent auction, heavy pupu and more. Tickets cost $40 if purchased in January, and $45 from Feb. 1 to 9. You also can reserve a Coastlines Ohana Table of Eight for $1,000, which includes a reserved table for eight guests, reserved complimentary valet parking, your company’s logo listed in the event program, a group photo with Alex O’Loughlin, a complimentary bottle of wine for your table, a special gift for each table guest, company listing on the Sustainable Coastlines Website event page, recognition on Sustainable Coastlines Facebook page, company listing in an Event Mahalo E-blast and discounted sponsorship opportunities for 2013 SCH events.

Sustainable Coastlines is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Oahu’s beaches with a mission to inspire local communities to care for their coasts through hands at beach cleanups. It was established in February 2010 and has since organized beach cleanup events involving nearly 4,000 volunteers who have worked together to remove 27,454 pounds of garbage from our beaches.
