CPAC’s ‘Zombie’ Is Looking For A Ride
A zombie is lurking at Castle Performing Arts Center and it’s looking for a motorcycle.
There’s nothing to fear. The bike is actually needed for the production of Zombie Prom Jr., which takes the stage Feb. 24-26 at Ronald E. Bright Theatre. The motorcycle doesn’t need to run, and the older the better. CPAC would like to borrow it for the month or take it off your hands.
If you’re interested in donating or lending a motorcycle to CPAC, call director Karen Meyer at 233-5626.
Making its debut in 1993 at the Red Barn Theatre in Key West, Fla., Zombie Prom is an off-Broadway musical that also has been adapted into a short film.
Performed by Castle Complex fifthto eightgraders, the show stars Jeremy Hurr as Jonny Warner, Keahi Coria as Toffee, Casey Park at Ms. Strict and Kaj Pastor as Eddie Flagrante, with vocal direction by Callie Doan and choreography by Natalie Jolly Uehara.
Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 and 25, and at 3 p.m. Feb. 26. Tickets cost $8 and $12 and can be purchased online at www.showtix4u.com. Ronald E. Bright Theatre is located at 45-386 Kaneohe Bay Drive in Kaneohe.
