Emerentia Ulep Wins A $250 Spree At Kmart

On Christmas Eve, Emerentia “Emy” Ulep needed to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, so she took a trip to Kmart at Stadium Marketplace.

As she made her purchase at 12:50 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Emy with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Kmart shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Kmart because I like their rewards card and their sales,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a certified nurse’s aide. “Also, the customer service is real good.”

Emy was born and raised in Kalihi and graduated from Farrington High School in 1987. She and husband Angel live in Aiea and have three sons. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and going to new restaurants. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like the cover stories,” she said. “Also, the sale ads and the recipes.”
