Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Ty Y. Nohara has joined the local investment advisory firm Cadinha & Co. LLC as head of compliance. Nohara was previously with the state of state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Securities Enforcement Branch as securities enforcement attorney and acting senior securities attorney. She is a 1993 graduate of Punahou School and received a her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law.
Thomas Obungen, Hawaii Pacific University senior, has been selected as one of the Top 15 Social Media Personalities in Hawaii. Obungen, a strategic communication advertising/public relations major is set to graduate this month.
Erin Kealoha Fale has been hired as senior account executive for Communications Pacific. Previously, Fale served as chief of staff for state Rep. Aaron Ling Johanson, and also worked as an account coordinator in the Venice Beach, Calif., office of the international public relations firm Ketchum. She is a Kamehameha Schools graduate and earned a degree in political science and international relations at University of Southern California.
Kalei Ka’ilihiwa has been named the director of community programs for Kamehameha Schools’ Public Education Support division. Ka’ilihiwa will oversee the Ka Pua Initiative, leading operations and helping to create opportunities and partnerships to support keiki and families on the Wai’anae Coast. Prior to accepting this new position, Ka’ilihiwa served as director of Kamehameha’s Ho’olako Like department, overseeing support for 17 Hawaiian-focused public charter and conversion schools.
Kelley Cho has been promoted to account executive in the Travel & Tourism division of McNeil Wilson Communications. Prior, Cho served as an assistant account executive servicing the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau and Big Island Visitors Bureau.
