Leslie Akiyama Wins A $250 Spree At Times Super Market

On Friday, Leslie Akiyama went to Times Super Market in Kaimuki to pick up a bento for lunch. As he sat outside of the store at 11:15 a.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Leslie with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Times Super Market shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Times because it’s convenient – it’s close to my home,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a retired plumber. “Also, the prices are much lower than other markets and the service is good.”

Leslie was born and raised in Kaimuki and graduated from Kaimuki High School in 1969. In his free time, he enjoys reading MidWeek. “I like all the columns,” he said. “But I especially like to read Larry Price’s column and the sports columns.”
