Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii
Brian Steward has been appointed chief financial officer of PEMCO Ltd. Stewart is now responsible for all financial operations including strategic financial planning, financial analysis, accounting, budgeting and reporting. Steward also serves on PEMCO Ltd.’s board of directors and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Travis Gray has been appointed as marketing and communications agency Olomana Loomis ISC’s vice president of development. Gray will oversee the agency’s nonprofit client portfolio and develop integrated marketing and stakeholder engagement strategies for business clients. He is well known in the local nonprofit sector as past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)-Aloha Chapter and board vice chairman of Life Foundation.
Ashley Metcalf, a third-generation Realtor in Hawaii real estate, has been hired by Properties of the Pacific as office manager. Metcalf previously worked as a Realtor-associate with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. She is chairwoman of Hawaii Young Professionals Network.
Shauna Tonkin, Ph.D. has joined Pacific Aviation Museum Peal Harbor as director of education. Tonkin will research and develop the curriculum, teaching procedures and education programs. Tonkin has served in many leadership roles, most recently as executive director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Regent University.
Kerry Lum has been hired by Approved Freight Forwarders as account manager for its Honolulu operations. Lum was most recently a senior territory manager for SkinCeuticals, a L’Oreal company. Her main responsibilities at Approved Freight Forwarders include targeting business development and sales by conducting competitive market analysis, development of capture strategies and preparing proposals for the freight forwarding division.
