Ewa Beach Center Turning 50

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Ewa Beach Shopping Center is sponsoring an essay contest for intermediate and high school students in the area.

The competition requires students to answer the question: “What is so special about Ewa Beach?” Entry forms already have been distributed to Ilima Intermediate School, Ewa Makai Middle School and Campbell High School. Entry forms along with drop-off boxes are available at all Ewa Beach Shopping Center shops and businesses.

Entries must be submitted by noon Saturday, and winners will be contacted. Cash prizes include $50 for first place, $30 for second place and $20 for third place.
