Ultimate Girls Movie Night Out

Fashionista’s Market presents the Ultimate Girls Movie Night Out with Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 Nov. 16 and 17 at Ward Theaters.

Tickets are $35 and include one ticket to a private screening for Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2, a limited-edition T-shirt to wear that night, a swag bag, pre-party pupus and a chance to win fun prizes such as a life-size cut-out of Edward and Jacob. A $10 discount is available for seats in the first four rows of the theater.

A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Women Speaking Out organization. The event is open to all ages, and tickets are sold by seating, so there’s no waiting in line. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and are available at Fashionista’s Market at 1185 Bethel St. or by phone at 537-1115.

A pre-party at Vice Night Club takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 8 p.m.

HI Fashion At Bishop Museum

Bishop Museum presents “An Evening of HI Fashion” with a fashion show Nov. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. featuring vintage designs by Alfred Shaheen and contemporary inspirations of Andy South and Reyn Spooner.

The show takes place beneath the stars with Bishop Museum’s grand Hawaiian Hall as the backdrop. Hosted by Aaron Sala, the evening will include musical entertainment, era-inspired cocktails, food tastings by Hale Aina and Cafe Pulama, and a silent auction of Shaheen originals.

Finish off the night with a stroll through Bishop Museum’s newest exhibit “HI Fashion: The Legacy of Alfred Shaheen” featuring more than 200 of the master printer’s most famous creations.
