Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii
Shannon Gascon, a project manager for Haseko Development, has been elected president of the Honolulu chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction for the 2012-2013 business year. Gascon has been a member of NAWIC’s Honolulu chapter for four years. She currently serves as chair of the chapter’s membership committee and has served as the chapter’s secretary and co-chair of the scholarship committee. Gascon has been working in construction for 13 years and joined Haseko in May 2009.
Timothy Deegan has been appointed to the position of senior marketing specialist for CBRE in the Hawaii region. Deegan will be responsible for the marketing and research staff, as well as the operations, and will also focus on special project management, new business development and staff planning. Deegan most recently was vice president of marketing for Maui Divers Jewelry. Previously he held executive positions with Hilton Resorts Hawaii, Hong Kong Tourist Association and DDB Needham Worldwide Asia. He has represented and consulted for both Hawaii and national brands including Outrigger Hotels, Hilo Hattie, Aloha Tower Marketplace, Avis/Budget Rent A Car, Disney Stores and McDonald’s Restaurants.
Albert Denys, Jr. has been hired as the chief operating officer of Hawaii First, a community association management company. Denys has more than 38 years of successful, progressive leadership and property management experience in both the private and federal sectors. He has held several positions with Hawaii-based management companies with titles including community association manager and senior vice president of government affairs.
Anthony Tolentino was named Hawaii Employee of the Year by Express Employment Professionals. Tolentino is a member of the Pearl City Express Employment system.
