Waipahu Street Fair Saturday

The Taste of Waipahu festival takes over Waipahu Depot Street from 3:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday with Ono Local Grinds, Liquid Pleasure Thai Kitchen among the vendors.

“We try to focus on our Waipahu folks first and foremost,” said Henry Aquino, executive director of Waipahu Community Association, which hosts the event. “We want to highlight good things that are coming out of Waipahu.”

The event features various entertainers, many of whom have ties to Waipahu.

Shuttle service will be provided at Waipahu Intermediate and Waipahu Elementary.
