Eat Ice Cream, Grant A Wish
Ice cream enthusiasts can help make wishes come true Thursday during Cold Stone Creamery’s 11th annual World’s Largest Ice Cream Social at its Kailua shop and six others on Oahu.
Throughout the day, $1 from the sale of any Love It or Gotta Have It ice cream, yogurt or sorbet creation will be donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
“Make-A-Wish is such an amazing charity, and we are thrilled to be sup- porting them again,” said Tod Takahashi, the company’s area representative.
“We are hoping for a large turnout Sept. 27 to continue raising funds to enrich the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions.”
Cold Stone has been raising funds throughout the entire month by selling Make-A-Wish stars for $1 each.
Throughout the years, the partnership has raised more than $4 million for Make-A-Wish — enough to grant more than 500 wishes.
