Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii
Felix Calvo has been promoted to officer and director of Pomare Ltd., parent company to Hilo Hattie. Calvo will add the office of secretary to his current title of vice president of sales and marketing.
Sherry Hunt has been promoted to vice president of John Mullen & Company, a 52 year-old, privately owned independent adjusting and third-party administration company.
Greg Wolny has been named senior plant manager for the USPS Honolulu District. Wolny is responsible for overseeing the mail processing and distribution operations, transportation and maintenance operations associated with the district’s processing and distribution center, located near Honolulu International Airport.
Blair M.T. Odo has been appointed intercultural educator by the JAIMS board of trustees. Odo previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of JAIMS. Odo is the eighth president of JAIMS, a management school located in Hawaii Kai. With more than 20 years at the school, Odo is credited with overseeing the institute’s academic programs, developing a flourishing network of international internship partners, and developing customized corporate training programs in Hawaii, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
Terra Malia Montero has been promoted to the new position of director of catering at Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel. Montero has worked in the hotel industry for more than 13 years in both Las Vegas and Hawaii, and has been an employee of the Hilton Hotels chain for six years.
