2017 Ho‘okahiko Award

Duke’s Waikīkī honored legendary singer Carol Momi Bee Kahawaiola‘a with the 2017 Ho‘okahiko Award. The award was established in 1998 to honor those who exemplify and perpetuate the Hawaiian culture — ho‘okahiko in Hawaiian means “cling to the traditions.”
