2013 ‘Taste’ Highlights Waipahu Businesses

Waipahu Community Association invites guests to sample a Taste of Waipahu from 4 to 10 p.m. Nov. 2 at Waipahu Festival Marketplace.

The annual event highlights the best of Waipahu-based businesses, restaurants, entertainment and food. In addition to informational booths and food vendors, it also will feature keiki games and live entertainment.

With the overall goal of promoting regional economic strength, the community association aims to help bolster Waipahu’s capacity to create and pursue community-based development opportunities and enhance economic, social and cultural vitality. Its programs include basic business training, as well as a follow-up program that helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
