A public celebration of the life of Don Dymond is set for 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at Le Jardin Academy, which the late businessman and youth mentor supported in many ways. Don died Sept. 30 at age 68 and is remembered for helping schools, paddling clubs, the I Love Kailua party, fireworks show and more. He also owned or co-owned Kalapawai Market, Kalapawai Cafe, and Zia’s in Kailua and Kaneohe. Donations can be made to a scholarship fund in his name at Le Jardin …

She plans to build partnerships to help students learn STEM concepts from ancient and modern sources.
